Just a little of what we've been doing recently......
This table was in our garage when we moved in and has been sitting in there for years. I used it for folding laundry, but mostly it's where all the junk and odd and ends accumulated. In need of more work space in the kitchen, we recently brought it inside.
Dominick took the old legs off for me.
While Aravis put together the $10 Ikea legs.
Now all we need is a little sandpaper and some polyurethane and we'll have someplace to make cookies or prepare dinner.
Lately, we've been playing with these....
They're called Flexeez and they're the coolest little plastic building toys. Everyone, myself included, has been having lots of fun playing with them. They're incredibly addicting. There are millions of things to do with them and ways to connect and build with them.
I made this penguin following the directions that came with them
Dominick made this motorcycle with working wheels without any directions (of course!)
There's also been a little bit of this......
We stopped at Cracker Barrel for dinner a few nights ago and picked up this potholder loom which was great because we really needed potholders!
And my oldest.......
got her nose pierced.
I remember looking at her beautiful little face when she was a baby and her perfect little baby skin and thinking "Now I understand why parents don't want their children to get tattoos and pierce their bodies!" As it turns out, now that she's older, she no longer has perfect baby skin but she still has a beautiful face and I think her piercing just makes her all the more beautiful!
