Baptism and Beach Therapy

Last night my youngest daughter chose to follow Jesus in baptism.  It's such a joy to watch my children grow and mature in their relationships with the Lord.  We've never asked any of our kids if they wanted to be baptized. That life decision has come from each of them at different times as the Holy Spirit has been working in their lives. I am a firm believer that every person's journey with Christ is personal and individual and that my responsibility to my children is to pray for them and to live out my own faith before them. I want to get out of God's way as much as possible and not hinder their ability to hear God's voice in their lives by trying to be God's voice in their lives. While, unfortunately, my example is not always perfect, God's faithfulness is. I have 3 amazing kids, with different talents, abilities, and personalities. It is truly a privilege to be their mom and to watch them grow as the people God created them to be. I am thankful for my daughter. I am thankful for her desire to follow Jesus and I am thankful to God, who created her,  for His faithfulness to her.

Beach Therapy

The Dr. prescribed a trip to the beach for a lingering sinus infection.  We hadn't been to the beach in months but we've been twice this week.  It was so perfect and beautiful that I had to post some pictures. The kids and I have decided that we need to go as much as possible.  We can't forget how blessed we are to live so close to this perfection of nature and how privileged we are not to lead such busy lives that we can't take advantage of it.
