Blood and Guts and Other Stuff

I know that the rest of the country just celebrated Memorial Day, but around here it's looked more like Halloween.  Tanner loves making movies, editing movies, creating special effects and playing around with stage make-up.  She created this look for a haunted house they made in Dominick's room for Aravis and her friends.

They set up her video camera and connected it to this tv so they could hide in the closet but still see what was going on in the room. Then they hooked up the microphone to the effects pedal and speaker so they could broadcast themselves with creepy voices. They used fishing line to make things fly across the room and a black light to make things glow. And judging by the screams, I'd say it was sufficiently chilling.

They spent most of the day yesterday filming a movie they've been working on with neighborhood friends. (Spoiler alert!) Apparently Dominick gets mortally wounded.

She did such a great job it was actually a little unsettling.
Can't wait to see the movie!
