Water Fun

We've had a LOT of rain around here lately which has meant lots of movies and crafts and other indoor activities but when there wasn't thunder or lightning these two rushed out to play in the rain. They love to swim in the rain and jump on the wet trampoline.

After being rained out several times. We finally got a beautiful day for the water park with our homeschool group.

And while she's sitting nicely in this shot, she really preferred to be dangled over the edge of the tube so she could kick her legs in the water.

Whenever the sun has been out, and sometimes when it hasn't, the kids in the neighborhood have been fishing at the pond.

Dominick caught his biggest fish yet.

They've also been catching turtles and brought home this sweet little duckling.

They desperately wanted to keep it but since "catching" it was really more like a ducknapping, we decided it was probably better if it was with it's mommy.

So they returned it to the lake where it quickly reunited with its mommy,

 but it was really cute and cuddly while they had it.
